Officers
Diana Łomowska-Keehner
President
Diana researches bacterial terpenoid biosynthesis in Streptomyces with a focus on terpene synthases and cytochromes P450. Outside of lab, she enjoys walks in nature and reading.

Nessa Pesaran Afsharian
Secretary
Nessa is a structural biologist. She is interested in application of NMR and Single molecule fluorescence to study structure, function, and dynamics of GPCR and non-GPCR membrane proteins. In her free time, she enjoys discovering nature and dancing.

Advisor
Dr. Matthew Eddy
Faculty Advisor
Dr. Eddy's knowledge and guidance have helped us to create Fellows of Chemical Biology. His research focuses on structural biology of human membrane receptor proteins, known as GPCRs, to understand their drug-binding mechanisms and their functions in cell signaling.

Nidhi Kalia
Vice President
Nidhi works on the chemical and kinetic characterization of Nsp15 endoribonuclease from SARS-CoV-2. She uses mechanistic enzymology to understand the functional properties and define the catalytic mechanism of Nsp15. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, travelling, and photography.

Swapnil Joshi
Treasurer
Swapnil's research focuses on ribonucleotide reductase inhibition in the Harris lab at UF.
